A series of short walks not exceeding 5
miles, so all the family young and old can enjoy. Some rough terrain may be
encountered so stout shoes are advisable.

General Notes - Nodiadau Cyffredinol
- Ramblers
requiring transport from Pontypool Leisure Centre, Grid Ref SO 286006, are
advised to either arrange a lift or telephone the leader before hand as many
members now go direct to the starting point of the walk
- Members going
direct to the starting point should ensure they are clear about its location
and arrive in sufficient time to be ready to go at the stated start
time
- In the event of
inclement weather walks may have to be cancelled or amended at the discretion
of the leader
- Members must be
suitably clad with boots or stout shoes and waterproofs in case of bad weather.
Leaders have the right to refuse to take anyone on the walk if they are not
suitably clothed. It is also recommended that members carry a simple first aid
kit
- Members are
asked to follow the advise and instructions of the leader and to stay behind
him/her unless otherwise advised
- Walks with more
than average climbing are marked "Strenuous"
- All persons
participating in walks do so at their own risk
